The Park at Salem Township will be dedicated in memory of Officer Dean G. Eckart Jr. who passed away on June 13, 2008.  Dean was a valued police officer, co-worker, resident and friend.  He served the township for many years and will be dearly missed.  The Park dedication ceremony date has yet to be set. 

A small rock garden in the park is in memory of Ray Taylor who passed away on January 28, 2009.  He was with the Department of Public Works for many years.  Ray was a dedicated employee.  He cared about Salem Township and its residents very deeply.  He will be sadly missed.
